The National Archives of Latvia suspends the lodging of applications for thematic and genealogical research
From the 1st of November, 2020, the State Historical Archive of Latvia of the National Archives of Latvia suspends the lodging of applications for thematic and genealogical research for an indefinite period.
On the grounds of accumulation of outstanding applications for thematic and genealogical research in the Latvian State Historical Archives and the lack of archival resources to process the applications within a fixed and reasonable time limit.
We apologize for inconvenience and would like to remind that any interested person can carry out independent research in the reading room of the Archives or via the Archives website Raduraksti, as well as we recommend the use of the Recommendations to Family Researchers published by the NAL.( LV)
