The journal section titled “Archives Today” provides insights into the latest news from the National Archives of Latvia as well as from foreign archives. It also presents an account of the National Archives of Estonia's experience in introducing an educational program for school students in the archive. It also highlights an international initiative collaboratively developed by the historical archive of Celje in Slovenia and the archive of Ieper in Belgium, titled “The Challenge of International Archives Week”, in which the National Archives of Latvia participates each year.
The journal “Archives of Latvia” is published by the National Archives of Latvia and the Latvian Archivist Society with the support by the State Culture Capital Foundation.
